Flood Alert - River Wye

Dear All,

Please be aware that the Environment Agency has issued a Flood Alert for the River Wye in Derbyshire, with flooding possible for the Wye & tributaries from Burbage to the River Derwent at Rowsley.

With thunderstorms forecast over the next 8 hours, areas most at risk are low-lying agricultural land and roads including the Ashford and Bakewell areas, and the A6 at Buxton.
