FAIRTRADE FORTNIGHT IN DARLEY DALE

FAIRTRADE FORTNIGHT IN DARLEY DALE

Fairtrade Fortnight is almost upon us again and we hope people will feel encouraged to join in. It will run from Monday, February 26th to Sunday, March 11th. Darley Dale Fairtrade Group is organising a free TOWN TRAIL to raise awareness of the range of items now available to support justice for small producers with limited access to overseas markets. Several shops and businesses in Darley Dale have agreed to display a marked and numbered Fairtrade object and competition entry forms for those who would like to see how many of these they can find. There will be three prizes for the winners. To take part find your first object in your nearest shop, pub or public place, pick up an entry form and see how many more you can spot. Competition entry forms will also be available at Darley Dale Methodist Church, St Helen's Church & the Whitworth Centre. Return your completed form in the box at the Whitworth Centre, the churches or post to Ingrid Pasteur at 24 Greenaway Lane, Darley Dale, DE4 2QB. Results will be published. Good Luck!
