They have a consultation questionnaire on line at https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/8MD8ZYX

(you have to work through the pages until you get to Darley Dale as they are consulting on the closure of many toilet blocks across the area.)

Flowers in the Field is a well established community garden project located in Church Town Darley Dale. The aim of the garden is to encourages individuals to be active outdoors doing gardening, growing vegetables and other activities connected to nature.

Large Housing Development planned for Darley  Dale, behind the Co-Op

A revised planning application has been submitted by Charles Church, the developer, this time for 100 houses on the site.

The Town Council has received lots of letters of objection to this development based on concerns of over development, loss of green space between Matlock and Darley Dale, highways concerns relating to the A6, insufficient local infrastructure to support a development of this size, increase in traffic, etc.. Large Planning Development Proposed for Darley Dale

This week the Town Council has received notification that a planning application for a residential development for 126 dwellings has been received by the District Council.

The houses are proposed to be built on the site behind the former RBS building.
